Trams
Nottingham`s state-of-the-art tram system passes close to the Galleries of Justice. The `Lace Market` stop on Fletcher Gate is a three minute walk away. Trams run at least every 10 minutes until midnight (more frequent at peak times). In addition there are five free Park and Glide sites (detailed below) on the system. An all-day tram ticket costs just £2.20. Find out more at: www.thetram.net or call 0115 942 7777.
Rail
Nottingham Railway Station is a 10-minute walk from the Museum. Follow signs which direct you to The Lace Market and keep looking out for grey signs which are dotted on-route to the NCCL Galleries of Justice. For timetable and fare information contact National Rail Enquiries on 0845 748 4950.
Bus
Nottingham has two main bus stations:
Broadmarsh and Victoria each being a 10-minute walk from the Museum. Again, follow the signs to The Lace Market and keep looking out for the grey signs.
Road
Easily accessible by a good road network throughout Greater Nottingham and the East Midlands. From the M1, take junctions 24/25 from the south or J26 from the north, and follow signs to Nottingham city centre. On all routes you will pick up the large brown tourist information signs for the Galleries of Justice about two miles out from the city. At the large roundabout overlooked by the BBC building, take a left (signposted A60 Mansfield). Take the second left onto Hollowstone and follow the road around to the left, past the church and then the Galleries of Justice building is on your left (opposite the Lace Market Hotel). Nearest car park details are found below, but both the NCP Stoney Street and Fletcher Gate car parks are signposted from Hollowstone.
Car Parks
Please park in the city centre car parks servicing the Lace Market area; all are within easy walking distance. Please check for opening and closing times and current prices by calling 0115 915 6655.
